No Train. No Life!

Golden, CO

If anybody wants to burn me CD's they're more than welcome to. It's great that I get to listen to a lot of music and spoken word stuff on the road, but you run out of stuff or get bored of them real quick. It's good to listen to stuff that I'm unfamiliar with, though.

We do have a laptop now, but it's hard to find hotspots. Once I get a little money, I'm going to try and get a wireless card from Sprint or T-Mobile.

We're in Golden, CO at the moment and we're picking up a load to take to Virginia. It's great to be out of the northwest for a while. It's nice up there, but it sucks driving in moutains nonstop with extreme weather conditions all the time. It's also hard to sleep when you know the other person's driving in those conditions.

California still sucks. Bad luck just looms over me anytime I'm there. I'm not too fond of Utah either.

I've been getting a lot of writing done and it helps more having a laptop as I can't write longhand for long and I can't write quick enough to keep up with my train of thought enough to keep up with my momemtum.

I've been simultaneously reading Infinite Jest and Fleth Won. Both really great and both really funny. Reading Fletch I can see why Kevin Smith wants to do that with Jason Lee.

I've been realizing a lot of stuff and piecing together a lot of stuff about me personally out here on the road. Writing and all, I've been figuring out stuff and sorting through it all.

I listened to "Dakau Blues," yesterday. I had no idea what Dakau was and Jeanne told me and I started listening to the lyrics and I couldn't stop laughing. Great song.

I really hope to be able to blog more often. I have so many things to post but at the time of the blogging, I really don't feel up to it. California sucks and the dispatcher at the Lathrop terminal that I dealt with needs his head rolled.

All right, more later. I need to sleep.
