Fox News

I watched Hannity's special report this past weekend, and I still don't understand their "fair and balanced" bi-line. He had three guests on there all with the same agenda. How informational is that?

It was stupid as you could think, and then the O'Reilley Factor after was funnier. It's just funny how they keep pushing the "fair and balanced" thing and keep justifying it during the show but not having any opposing views to get an intelligent discussion goin.

It just baffles me that everytime I tune in it's like that and people love this shit and eat it up. I've said before that I don't care what these pundits' opinions are but it bothers me to no end that people eat that shit up as facts. It's easy to look smart when you get to spin things your way and no one disagrees with you.

That's what I like about "Real Time With Bill Maher," because he has very different people on the show and you can get so much more out of it and actually have an intelligent view of something...at least a more informed one if you are not scared of facts against what you believe or want to believe.

Funny Heidi was expressing the exact same sentiments, that voicing different opinions is good, etc, but how she hates it when people listen to something that is biased & take it for granted that the entire story is being told & that it is all the "absolute truth." Except for her it is how people don't realize CNN & NPR has a more liberal/deomocrat bias. She thinks listening to NPR & Bible Answer Man, etc, gives a better perspective from hearing both sides.
