several things

Rick Santorum swore while being upset with a NY Times reporter asking a question about what he said. Santorum angrily responded saying that based on the issue of Obamacare, Mitt Romney was the worst Republican in the nation. Then he swore. Later Santorum said if you haven't swore to a NY Times reporter, you're not a true Republican (or Conservative - need to look this up).

This is probably the best example of why we cannot be governed by ANY religion. Aside from the obvious stuff, religious nuts like this get more and more fundamentalist and then justify their actions - no matter how against their religion it is - as part of their cause. It's like people killing abortion doctors in the name of religion or what the Westboro Baptist idiots do in the name of their religion. Once you start trying to qualify things you do that goes against the religions main tenets you don't get let off the hook. Where does it stop?

When I was truck driving I noticed on the bases (abutments?) of underpasses there would be spraypainted, "Trust Jesus." That pissed me off to no end. Not because of what it said, but what it represented. If someone did, "Trust Satan" or "Trust Mohammed," they would be arrested and the jury would find them guilty and depending on what state, sentenced to death...or at least offerred that punishment. Remember, Newt Gingrinch suggested the death penalty for 2 oz. of weed, so this would not be too far fetched, especially after reading comments to things online about the soldier who killed those 16 people in Afghanistan.

<---the following was blogged the other week but I didn't post it, I guess:

This Asian kid came into the shop the other day (while we had durian ice cream) and I glanced up and saw the Knicks jersey and bolted back. I told Andrew that I'm not going to serve an Asian kid in Omaha wearing a Jeremy Lin jersey.

I got an A on the first part of my Calculus midterm and am awaiting the take-home portion. I got all my midterms out of the way before spring break so I can enjoy my spring break and possibly finish the two books I've been trying to finish. Bad part is this week I pay for newspapers.
