Had to pick up parents from the airport today in the afternoon, so I figured we'd go to Haleiwa. Didn't get shave ice, but went to Ali'i beach park. There was a sign up to expect delays because of a surf meet. Luckily it was this past weekend or the one coming up so the stands were up but no contest. The waves were there and a lot of surfers. We got to see kids going into the water to surf in waves I wouldn't go swimming in. I jumped in the shallow area but didn't swim because I didn't want to deal with the shore breaks and undertows.

Gonna just relax tonight and head to Chinatown tomorrow.
