A Watch Tower

I got a Watch Tower today. I saw them coming and told Jeanne not to answer the door. Though I was getting the grill ready to sear and smoke some teriyaki chicken for the much needed Ted & Wally's meeting today. So when I went out to add more paper to the chimney, I was approached. I told him politely how I don't believe in that stuff and he asked if I thought about the future. I had this whole thing planned out about how I think religion is a crock of shit and all that stuff, but he was very polite and respectful and so I started being cordial. I mentioned how I think that religion is personal and shouldn't be involved in anything else and that it's the one thing that's made our country - our world - soooo divisive. You can't run things by religion and the way it's done is so horrible and wars and oppressive and if you go to the basics of all religion (i.e., look at the texts - even though they're not in their original context) it's all about peace and treating people right. He agreed and gave me the ironically current Watch Tower whose subject is "Religion and Politics: Should They Mix?" That's good. I'll save my anti-religion speech for the dickheaded, uninformed Right Wing assholes who need to be brought down. Calculus final kicked my ass...Hopefully I pulled a B on it. I aced my Geography class and need at least a 90% in tomorrow's Anthropology final to get a B. Took Ayana to the Durham during the meeting since it was at our house and met Megan and Dax there.
